About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission a range of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and ventilation equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate system placement and installation.
• Perform necessary modifications to ductwork, piping, and electrical systems as required for installation.
• Troubleshoot and repair installation-related issues, ensuring systems operate at peak efficiency.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and company procedures on all job sites.
• Provide basic operational guidance to clients upon completion of installation projects.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in installing and maintaining HVAC systems.
• Solid understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and building codes related to HVAC.
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail for precise installations.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel within the Birmingham area and surrounding regions.
• Relevant certifications such as Gas Safe or F-Gas would be advantageous.
