Our client is seeking a skilled HVAC Installation Engineer to join their growing team in Birmingham . This role focuses on the precise installation and commissioning of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for commercial and residential properties. You will work on diverse projects, ensuring all installations meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Install, test, and commission a range of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and ventilation equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate system placement and installation.
- Perform necessary modifications to ductwork, piping, and electrical systems as required for installation.
- Troubleshoot and repair installation-related issues, ensuring systems operate at peak efficiency.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and company procedures on all job sites.
- Provide basic operational guidance to clients upon completion of installation projects.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in installing and maintaining HVAC systems.
- Solid understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and building codes related to HVAC.
- Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail for precise installations.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel within the Birmingham area and surrounding regions.
- Relevant certifications such as Gas Safe or F-Gas would be advantageous.
