About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced HVAC Installation Engineer to join their dynamic team in Newcastle upon Tyne . This role is central to delivering high-quality climate control solutions to commercial and domestic clients across the North East. You will be responsible for the precise installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, ensuring they meet stringent performance and safety standards. This is a hands-on position requiring technical proficiency, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent service, making you a key player in our client's Installation & Maintenance operations in the Newcastle upon Tyne area.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and commission various HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and ventilation systems.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accurate installations.
- Perform system checks and necessary adjustments to guarantee efficient and safe operation.
- Conduct routine maintenance and identify potential issues before they cause system failure.
- Respond to service calls for troubleshooting and repairs of HVAC equipment.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and building codes relevant to HVAC installation.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in installing and maintaining HVAC systems.
- Good knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical controls, and building management systems.
- Ability to work effectively with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously.
- A clean driving license is essential for travel to client sites in and around Newcastle upon Tyne .
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in HVAC engineering are advantageous.
