About the Role
Join our client's dynamic team as an HVAC Installation Engineer in Manchester , playing a key role in the successful deployment of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for a diverse range of commercial and domestic clients. This position demands a blend of technical expertise, practical installation skills, and excellent customer service. You will be responsible for the complete installation process, from initial site assessment and system fitting to final testing and client handover, ensuring optimal performance and client satisfaction across Greater Manchester and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission HVAC systems , including ductwork, refrigeration units, and control panels.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and building plans to ensure accurate installation.
- Perform pressure tests, leak checks, and system calibrations to guarantee optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any installation-related issues promptly and efficiently.
- Provide clear instructions and demonstrations to clients on system operation and basic maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in installing and maintaining HVAC systems.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in refrigeration, air conditioning, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical principles, and control systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and hand tools specific to HVAC work.
- Excellent physical condition to handle equipment and work in various environments.
- Customer-focused attitude with good communication and interpersonal skills.
