This role is crucial for ensuring optimal resource allocation and production capacity across the organisation. You will be responsible for analysing demand forecasts, modelling production scenarios, and developing strategic plans to meet future operational needs efficiently and cost-effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain sophisticated capacity planning models and tools to forecast future resource requirements.
- Analyse production data, sales forecasts, and market trends to predict future capacity needs.
- Evaluate potential bottlenecks and identify areas where capacity constraints may impact operations.
- Collaborate with operations, sales, and finance teams to align capacity plans with business objectives and market demands.
- Recommend strategies for capacity expansion, optimisation, and resource allocation.
- Develop simulation models to test various production scenarios and assess their impact on efficiency and cost.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial engineering , with a strong focus on capacity planning , production planning, or operations analysis.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis, forecasting techniques, and simulation modelling.
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel modelling is essential.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
