Industrial Engineering Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Industrial Engineering Manager to lead their team in Cambridge . This senior role is responsible for overseeing all industrial engineering functions, including process optimization, facility layout, and workflow design. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of industrial engineers , providing guidance, mentorship, and performance oversight.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for process improvement, lean manufacturing, and operational excellence.
• Oversee the design and optimization of facility layouts, material flow, and production systems.
• Conduct detailed analysis of operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with senior management to align engineering initiatives with company goals and objectives.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering , with at least 2 years in a management or team lead role.
• Proven expertise in lean manufacturing , Six Sigma, and process simulation software.
• Strong understanding of supply chain and operations management principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
• Experience in project management and budget oversight.
