About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and analytical Industrial Engineer focused on Operations Analysis to join their team in Liverpool . This role is critical for evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of our client's production and logistical operations. You will be responsible for collecting and analyzing operational data, identifying areas of inefficiency, and recommending data-driven solutions to improve performance, reduce costs, and enhance overall productivity. This position is ideal for an engineer who excels at detailed analysis and can translate complex data into actionable operational improvements within the industrial setting of Liverpool .
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, interpret, and analyze operational data from various sources to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain performance metrics and reporting systems to track key operational indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct time and motion studies, workflow analyses, and facility layout evaluations.
- Design and recommend process improvements, new methodologies, and technological solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with operations managers and team leaders to implement recommended changes and monitor their impact.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings and proposing actionable solutions to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Operations Research, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial engineering, operations analysis, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis techniques, statistical software (e.g., Minitab, SPSS), and database management.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and tools is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to communicate complex analytical findings clearly and concisely.
