About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Industrial Equipment Installer to join their team in Nottingham . This role is fundamental to the successful deployment of machinery and systems for a variety of industrial clients. You will be responsible for the physical installation, assembly, and initial setup of heavy equipment, ensuring it is correctly positioned, secured, and ready for operational testing. The ideal candidate will have experience with mechanical assembly, power tools, and a strong commitment to workplace safety, playing a key role in the Installation & Maintenance process.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and assemble industrial equipment and machinery according to blueprints and specifications.
- Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and securing of equipment using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Connect equipment to power sources and necessary utilities, adhering to electrical and mechanical standards.
- Perform initial system checks and assist in operational testing and commissioning.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and company procedures during installation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site throughout the installation process.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Industrial Equipment Installer, Mechanic, or in a similar hands-on installation role.
- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and mechanical measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation manuals.
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles and safe working practices in an industrial environment.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and maneuver heavy components.
- Teamwork and communication skills, essential for working collaboratively on project sites in Nottingham and surrounding areas within the Installation & Maintenance field.
