About the Role
Our client is seeking an innovative Industrial Process Engineer to contribute to their operational advancements, operating in a fully remote capacity. This role is focused on the continuous improvement of manufacturing and operational processes, ensuring maximum efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. You will analyze complex systems, identify areas for enhancement, and implement robust solutions. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent analytical skills, comfortable working independently and collaborating virtually with teams across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, waste, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement process enhancements utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Design and optimize production workflows, equipment utilization, and facility layouts.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed process changes and investments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of new processes.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including SOPs and training materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial or process engineering role.
- Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts and tools (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping).
- Proficiency in process simulation, data analysis, and visualization tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
