Industrial Process Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing production processes to identify inefficiencies, waste, and potential areas for improvement using tools like Value Stream Mapping.
• Develop and implement process improvements using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Design and optimize plant layouts, material flow, and workstation ergonomics to enhance productivity and safety.
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with production staff, quality assurance, and management to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in new product introduction processes, ensuring manufacturability and efficient ramp-up.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in an industrial engineering role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Solid understanding of Lean principles, Six Sigma tools, and statistical process control (SPC).
• Experience with CAD software for layout design and process flow charting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams.
