About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Industrial Process Engineer to join their established team based in Cardiff . Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement effective corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for production staff.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth implementation of new processes and technologies.
- Monitor key process indicators and implement improvements to meet production targets and quality standards.
- Participate in equipment selection, installation, and commissioning phases for new projects.
Requirements
- Degree in Industrial Engineering , Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role.
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficiency in process simulation, data analysis, and problem-solving techniques.
- Excellent technical documentation and communication skills.
- Experience with CAD software and statistical process control (SPC) tools.
