About the Role
Our client is seeking a results-oriented Industrial Process Improvement Engineer to join their team in Bristol . This hybrid role allows for a blend of on-site collaboration and remote work, offering a flexible and productive environment. You will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and implementing improvements across manufacturing and operational processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and a passion for driving operational excellence through data-driven decision-making and effective teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the identification and analysis of opportunities for process improvement within manufacturing and operational environments.
- Design, develop, and implement solutions leveraging Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to optimize workflows and reduce waste.
- Utilize process mapping, simulation, and statistical analysis tools to evaluate current state and design future state processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality, to ensure successful implementation of improvements.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training materials for new or revised processes.
- Monitor the impact of implemented changes on key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on results.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in an industrial engineering or process improvement role.
- Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies (certification preferred).
- Proficiency in using process analysis and simulation software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration in a hybrid setting.
