Information Security Analyst (Threat Intelligence)

About the Role

Our client is looking for a specialized Information Security Analyst with a focus on Threat Intelligence to join their team in Wolverhampton . This role is vital for proactively identifying, analyzing, and understanding cyber threats targeting the organization. You will leverage various data sources and tools to provide actionable intelligence that informs our security strategies and defenses, helping to protect our client's systems and data from malicious actors. This position requires a keen analytical mind and a deep understanding of the evolving threat landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret threat intelligence from various sources (open-source, commercial feeds, internal telemetry).
• Identify and track threat actors, their motivations, capabilities, and intended targets.
• Develop threat profiles and comprehensive reports to inform security teams and leadership.
• Integrate threat intelligence into security tools and processes, such as SIEM and threat detection systems.
• Provide guidance on threat mitigation strategies and proactive defense measures.
• Monitor emerging threats and vulnerabilities relevant to the organization's industry and technology stack.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in information security, with a specialization in threat intelligence.
• Proficiency in analyzing cyber threat data and understanding attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
• Experience with threat intelligence platforms and tools.
• Strong research, analytical, and communication skills.
