Our client is seeking an experienced and meticulous Installation Engineer specializing in complex systems to join their team in Bristol . This role is paramount in ensuring the successful deployment and integration of sophisticated technical equipment at client sites throughout the South West. You will be responsible for the complete installation process, from initial setup to final testing and handover, ensuring all systems function optimally and meet client specifications. Your technical expertise and professional approach will be key to maintaining our client's high standards of service delivery and customer satisfaction in this on-site focused role.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform precise installations of specialist equipment and systems according to project plans and technical documentation.
- Conduct thorough testing and calibration of installed systems to verify functionality and performance.
- Diagnose and resolve any technical issues encountered during the installation process.
- Provide technical guidance and basic training to clients on the operation of the installed systems.
- Maintain detailed installation records, service reports, and equipment logs.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations on client sites.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in a similar installation engineering or technical deployment role.
- Proficiency in interpreting complex technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Skilled in the use of precision tools and diagnostic equipment relevant to system installation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective client communication.
- Must hold a valid UK driving license and be prepared for regular travel within the Bristol region and surrounding areas.
