About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and diligent Insurance Claims Adjuster to join their team in Birmingham . In this hybrid role, you will manage the claims process from initial report to settlement, ensuring fair and efficient resolution for policyholders. You will investigate claims, assess damages, and negotiate settlements while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Key Responsibilities

• Investigate insurance claims by gathering evidence, interviewing claimants and witnesses, and inspecting damaged property.
• Determine coverage based on policy terms and conditions, and assess the extent of liability.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants and legal representatives to achieve fair resolutions.
• Document all claims activities, decisions, and communications accurately in the claims management system.
• Liaise with legal counsel, repair services, and other third parties as necessary.
• Provide clear and timely communication to policyholders throughout the claims process.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Insurance Claims Adjuster or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of insurance policies, claims procedures, and relevant legislation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Effective negotiation and communication abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage a caseload efficiently.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CII) are advantageous.
