About the Role
Our client is seeking an innovative and strategic Insurance Product Developer to join their fully remote product management team. This role is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and launching new insurance products and enhancing existing ones to meet evolving market demands and customer needs. You will collaborate closely with actuarial, underwriting, sales, and marketing teams to ensure product viability, profitability, and market competitiveness. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development lifecycle for new insurance products from ideation through to market launch.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer needs assessments to identify product opportunities.
- Collaborate with actuarial teams to develop pricing strategies, financial projections, and policy wordings.
- Work with underwriting and operations to ensure smooth product implementation and administration.
- Develop product strategy documentation, business cases, and launch plans.
- Monitor product performance post-launch and implement necessary adjustments or enhancements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance product development, management, or a related strategic role.
- Strong understanding of insurance principles, markets, and regulatory environments across various lines of business.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
