About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative Insurance Product Developer to join their strategy and product team in Belfast . In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and launch of new insurance products, ensuring they meet market needs and regulatory requirements while driving profitable growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including underwriting, marketing, legal, and actuarial to bring cutting-edge insurance solutions to market. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our client's product portfolio and make a tangible impact on their market presence.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept ideation to market launch.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for new insurance products.
Develop product specifications, pricing strategies, and policy wordings in collaboration with relevant departments.
Ensure all new products comply with regulatory standards and internal governance frameworks.
Manage product performance post-launch, making adjustments as needed based on market feedback and data analysis.
Work closely with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies and promotional materials.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience in insurance product development, management, or a related strategic role.
Strong understanding of insurance markets, product structures, and regulatory environments.
Excellent analytical, project management, and strategic thinking skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
A degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
