About the Role
Our client is looking for an innovative and market-aware Insurance Product Developer to join their product management team in Portsmouth . In this role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and launching new insurance products and enhancing existing ones to meet evolving market demands and customer needs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, marketing, legal, and IT, to bring successful products to market. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for new insurance products.
- Design and develop innovative insurance products, defining features, benefits, and pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all products meet regulatory requirements.
- Work with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies and product launch plans.
- Monitor the performance of existing products, making data-driven recommendations for enhancements.
- Act as a subject matter expert for assigned insurance products, supporting internal teams and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience in insurance product development, management, or a related strategic role.
- Strong understanding of the insurance market, product lifecycle, and regulatory environment.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable presenting to diverse audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
