About the Role

Our client is looking for a talented Intellectual Property Solicitor to join their innovative legal team in Cambridge . This role focuses on advising clients, particularly within the technology and life sciences sectors, on the protection, exploitation, and enforcement of their IP rights. You will handle a broad range of IP matters, including patents, trademarks, copyright, and confidential information. Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on patent , trademark, copyright, and design rights protection and registration.
• Draft and negotiate IP-related agreements, including licensing, collaboration, and
• Develop and manage IP strategies for clients, particularly in the technology and life sciences sectors.
• Represent clients in IP disputes, including infringement litigation and opposition proceedings.
• Conduct IP due diligence for corporate transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions.
• Provide advice on data protection and confidentiality matters related to IP assets.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years of experience specializing in Intellectual Property law .
• Strong understanding of patent law, trademark law, and copyright law.
• Experience in IP litigation and dispute resolution is essential.
• Excellent drafting skills and commercial awareness.
• Ability to work effectively with clients in highly technical and innovative industries in Cambridge .
