About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join their team in Belfast , operating in a fully remote capacity. This role is essential for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the company's inventory data across all its locations. You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing inventory control procedures, conducting regular audits, and analyzing inventory trends to optimize stock levels and minimize losses. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of inventory management best practices, making a significant contribution to operational efficiency and financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain robust inventory control procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast needs, and recommend stock adjustments.
• Work closely with procurement and warehouse teams to manage stock levels and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
• Prepare regular inventory reports for management review.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar inventory management role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Excel.
• Understanding of logistics and warehousing principles and inventory best practices.
• Excellent communication skills, suitable for a remote working environment.
