About the Role
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Junior Civil Engineer to join their expanding team in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire . You will contribute to a range of civil engineering projects, assisting with design, technical analysis, and site support under the mentorship of experienced professionals. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of civil engineering designs, drawings, and specifications using relevant software.
- Support senior engineers with technical calculations, including structural, drainage, and earthworks.
- Participate in site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to designs and quality standards.
- Help in the compilation of project reports, site records, and other technical documentation.
- Learn and apply health and safety regulations pertinent to civil engineering works.
- Collaborate effectively with team members on various project tasks in Stoke-on-Trent .
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience, demonstrating a strong foundational knowledge.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and other civil engineering design software is a plus.
- Good understanding of mathematical principles and analytical skills.
- Eagerness to learn, strong work ethic, and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, suitable for team collaboration in Staffordshire .
