Junior Civil Engineer - Site Development

About the Role

Our client is seeking an ambitious and proactive Junior Civil Engineer to contribute to their site development projects in Stoke-on-Trent . This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career engineer to develop practical skills in infrastructure design and site supervision. You will work closely with senior engineers and project managers, gaining exposure to a variety of projects including residential, commercial, and industrial developments. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of site infrastructure, including drainage, roads, and utility connections.
• Prepare design calculations, drawings, and documentation under supervision.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
• Support the coordination of project activities with contractors and other stakeholders.
• Learn and apply relevant design standards and best practices in site development.
• Maintain project records and assist in the preparation of progress reports.

Requirements

• BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, ideally within site development.
• Basic understanding of drainage design, AutoCAD, and relevant engineering principles.
• Strong desire to learn and develop technical and practical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK.
