Lead AI Engineer (Remote)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement robust, scalable, and production-ready AI/ML systems and pipelines.
• Lead and mentor a team of AI engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering their professional development.
• Define and enforce best practices for AI development, including coding standards, testing, and deployment strategies.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective AI solutions.
• Optimize AI models and systems for performance, efficiency, and reliability in cloud environments.
• Drive research and integration of new AI technologies and methodologies to enhance product capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years focused on AI/ML development and deployment.
• Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing complex AI projects.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with major AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and MLOps practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective remote work.
