Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Industrial Engineer to join their distributed team, operating entirely remotely. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced industrial engineering solutions to optimize manufacturing and operational processes.
- Develop and oversee the execution of strategic improvement projects utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies and data analytics.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of industrial engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with site managers and operational teams globally to identify opportunities for efficiency gains and cost reduction.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational effectiveness and report on progress to senior management.
- Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance productivity and quality.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in industrial engineering , with significant experience in leading complex projects and teams.
- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred), and process optimization techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects remotely and effectively engage with diverse, distributed teams.
- Proficiency in simulation software, data analysis tools, and project management platforms.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
