Lead BIM Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead BIM Coordinator to join their innovative design and construction team, operating remotely across various UK projects. This role is central to driving the adoption and effective implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes throughout the project lifecycle. You will be responsible for developing BIM strategies, managing federated models, coordinating clashes, and ensuring seamless collaboration between multi-disciplinary teams in a fully remote setup . Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement BIM execution plans (BEPs) for projects.
• Lead and manage the BIM coordination process, including clash detection and resolution.
• Ensure all project models comply with client requirements and industry standards (e.g., PAS 1192/ISO 19650).
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among design teams, contractors, and stakeholders using BIM platforms.
• Provide training and support to project teams on BIM software and workflows.
• Manage the delivery of 3D models, data, and associated documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a BIM Coordinator or Manager on complex construction projects.
• Expert proficiency with BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360.
• Strong understanding of BIM standards , workflows, and data management principles.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a remote environment.
