About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Lead BIM Coordinator to manage and drive Building Information Modeling processes across all projects, operating remotely. You will be responsible for establishing and enforcing BIM standards, coordinating models from various disciplines, and ensuring seamless digital collaboration. This role is vital for enhancing project efficiency, accuracy, and information management throughout the design and construction lifecycle, supporting a fully remote-first operational model.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage the company's BIM strategy and protocols across all projects.
- Lead the creation and execution of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) in collaboration with project teams.
- Coordinate and clash-detect models from all disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP, etc.) to ensure design integrity.
- Provide technical leadership and support to project teams on BIM software and best practices.
- Manage the BIM content library and ensure consistency and quality of digital assets.
- Oversee the generation of required information outputs for design, construction, and facility management.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator or Manager, with strong leadership capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of Revit , Navisworks, and other industry-standard BIM software.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and enforce BIM standards and workflows.
- Thorough understanding of the construction project lifecycle and interdisciplinary coordination.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills for remote collaboration.
