About the Role

Our client is looking for a visionary Lead Blockchain Architect to spearhead the design and strategic direction of our blockchain initiatives. This fully remote position offers the chance to shape the technical landscape of our decentralized technologies from the ground up. You will be responsible for defining the architectural standards, selecting appropriate technologies, and guiding development teams to build robust, scalable, and secure blockchain platforms. This is a pivotal role for an experienced architect who thrives on innovation and wants to leave a lasting mark on a rapidly evolving industry, all while enjoying the flexibility of a remote-first environment.

Key Responsibilities

Define and oversee the overall architecture of blockchain solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
Lead the selection of appropriate blockchain technologies, frameworks, and tools for various projects.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to blockchain development teams.
Develop technical roadmaps and strategies for the adoption and integration of blockchain technology.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business objectives into detailed technical requirements and design specifications.

Requirements

Extensive experience in software architecture, with a significant focus on blockchain technology.
Deep understanding of various blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, Corda) and their underlying principles.
Proven ability to design and implement complex, enterprise-grade distributed systems.
Strong knowledge of cryptography, consensus algorithms, and smart contract development best practices.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts.
