Lead Buyer - Indirect Materials

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing strategies for indirect spend categories, including IT, facilities, marketing, and professional services.
• Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements with suppliers.
• Conduct thorough market analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and manage strong, long-term relationships with key vendors.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and ethical standards.
• Mentor and guide junior members of the purchasing team.

Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement , specifically with indirect materials.
• Demonstrated success in leading complex negotiations and managing significant supplier contracts.
• In-depth knowledge of category management and sourcing methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; CIPS or equivalent certification preferred.
