Lead Industrial Engineer - Remote

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Lead Industrial Engineer to join their globally distributed team, working remotely from Newcastle upon Tyne . In this senior position, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing the company's global industrial engineering strategy. You will lead complex projects focused on optimizing operational performance, supply chain logistics, and manufacturing efficiency across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize global manufacturing and supply chain operations.
• Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and resolving complex operational challenges.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement efforts across all relevant business units.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for enhancement.
• Mentor and guide junior industrial engineers and project team members.
• Oversee the implementation of new technologies and process methodologies to drive efficiency and cost savings.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in industrial engineering with a strong focus on process optimization and strategic planning.
• Proven experience in leading large-scale process improvement projects in a manufacturing or logistics setting.
• Expertise in Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively and independently in a remote , international setting.
