About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Lead Machine Learning Engineer to spearhead their AI initiatives in Coventry . You will lead a team of talented engineers, guiding them through the entire ML lifecycle from ideation and data preparation to model deployment and monitoring. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of production-ready machine learning models and pipelines.
- Mentor and manage a team of machine learning engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to define ML project requirements and roadmaps.
- Oversee the selection and implementation of appropriate ML tools, frameworks, and infrastructure.
- Ensure the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of deployed ML solutions in a cloud environment .
- Drive best practices in MLOps, including CI/CD, monitoring, and automated model retraining.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior capacity.
- Proficiency in Python and core ML libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and their ML services.
- Proven ability to build and deploy ML models in production using MLOps principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
