About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Lead Machine Learning Engineer to spearhead their advanced AI initiatives in Coventry . This pivotal role involves architecting and deploying scalable machine learning systems, leading a team of talented engineers, and collaborating closely with product stakeholders to bring innovative AI features to life. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of production-grade machine learning models and pipelines.
• Mentor and guide a team of machine learning engineers, fostering their technical and professional growth.
• Define and implement MLOps best practices for model training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to translate research into scalable production systems.
• Optimize ML system performance, scalability, and reliability for high-traffic applications.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Significant professional experience (5+ years) in machine learning engineering, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent understanding of software engineering principles and MLOps.
