About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of complex mechanical systems from inception to production.
• Oversee the creation and implementation of detailed 3D models, drawings, and specifications using advanced CAD software .
• Conduct rigorous engineering analysis, including FEA and thermal studies, to ensure design integrity and optimize performance.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring successful delivery of engineering milestones in Cambridge .
• Mentor and guide junior design engineers, providing technical leadership and fostering professional growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electronics, software, and manufacturing, to ensure integrated product solutions.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in mechanical design, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Expert proficiency in 3D CAD modeling (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and advanced simulation tools.
• In-depth knowledge of materials science, manufacturing processes, and GD&T.
• Demonstrated project management skills and a track record of successful product development.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
