Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers, fostering technical excellence and professional growth.
- Oversee the entire design lifecycle for new mechanical products and systems, from conceptualization through to production.
- Conduct advanced engineering analysis, including FEA and CFD, to ensure designs meet performance and reliability requirements.
- Collaborate closely with product management, R&D, and manufacturing departments to align engineering efforts with business goals.
- Develop and implement innovative engineering solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
Requirements
- PhD or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Expertise in advanced CAD/CAE software suites (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL, Siemens NX).
- Deep understanding of mechanical design principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
- Proven track record of successfully leading complex engineering projects from start to finish.
