Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and development of mechanical systems, ensuring project timelines and budgets are met.
- Lead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers , fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Develop and implement best practices for mechanical design, analysis, and testing.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements and present technical solutions.
- Conduct rigorous design reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Manage resource allocation and technical problem-solving for ongoing projects.
Requirements
- Chartered Engineer status or equivalent professional qualification.
- Over 10 years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering , with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Extensive experience with CAD/CAE tools and a strong grasp of structural mechanics, dynamics, and heat transfer.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex engineering projects.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement.
