Lead Project Manager - Infrastructure

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Lead Project Manager to direct critical infrastructure projects in Derby, Derbyshire . Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a portfolio of infrastructure projects , ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Direct and mentor a team of project managers, providing guidance and oversight.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, budgets, and resource allocations for large-scale initiatives.
• Oversee risk management, quality assurance, and stakeholder communication across all assigned projects.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to define project priorities and long-term infrastructure roadmaps.
• Ensure all infrastructure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget in Derby .

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in project management, with a strong emphasis on infrastructure projects .
• Proven experience in leading and managing teams of project managers.
• Expertise in project management methodologies and tools.
• Strong strategic thinking, financial management, and negotiation skills.
• Relevant degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; PMP certification required.
