About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of advanced molecular biology experiments, including gene cloning, PCR, qPCR, and western blotting.
• Develop and optimize experimental protocols to achieve research objectives efficiently and reproducibly.
• Analyze and interpret complex experimental data, drawing robust conclusions and proposing next steps.
• Collaborate with other scientists and research groups to integrate molecular biology findings into broader projects.
• Mentor and guide junior research staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety standards and maintain accurate experimental records.

Requirements

• PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or a related life science discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant postdoctoral or industrial research experience in molecular biology techniques.
• Proven expertise in a wide range of molecular biology assays and techniques.
• Experience with data analysis software and interpretation of biological data.
• Strong leadership capabilities and experience mentoring junior scientists.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
