About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Lead Security Architect to shape and guide the security infrastructure in Plymouth . This senior role is responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of secure enterprise architectures that align with business goals and protect against sophisticated threats. You will lead a team of architects and engineers, setting the technical direction for security solutions. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to define the future of security for the organization and drive innovation in a critical area.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop secure, scalable, and resilient enterprise security architectures .
Lead the technical direction for security initiatives, including cloud security, network security, and application security.
Collaborate with IT stakeholders to ensure security is embedded in all technology roadmaps and projects.
Define security standards, patterns, and guidelines for the organization.
Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and solutions.
Provide expert guidance and mentorship to security engineering and architecture teams.

Requirements

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in security architecture and design.
Proven experience designing security solutions for complex, large-scale environments, including cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Deep understanding of network security principles , identity and access management, cryptography, and threat modeling.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and guide technical teams.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
