Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Lead Security Architect to shape and guide the security infrastructure in Plymouth . This senior role is responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of secure enterprise architectures that align with business goals and protect against sophisticated threats. You will lead a team of architects and engineers, setting the technical direction for security solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop secure, scalable, and resilient enterprise security architectures .
- Lead the technical direction for security initiatives, including cloud security, network security, and application security.
- Collaborate with IT stakeholders to ensure security is embedded in all technology roadmaps and projects.
- Define security standards, patterns, and guidelines for the organization.
- Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and solutions.
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to security engineering and architecture teams.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in security architecture and design.
- Proven experience designing security solutions for complex, large-scale environments, including cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Deep understanding of network security principles , identity and access management, cryptography, and threat modeling.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and guide technical teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
