About the Role
Our client is seeking a visionary and experienced Lead Security Architect to shape the future of their security infrastructure in Brighton . This strategic role involves designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of robust security architectures across all enterprise systems and cloud environments. You will be responsible for defining security standards, evaluating new technologies, and ensuring that security is intrinsically built into the company's technology strategy. This is a key leadership position for a seasoned architect passionate about building secure, scalable, and resilient systems in a forward-thinking organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure enterprise-level architectures, including cloud security solutions (AWS, Azure).
- Develop and enforce security standards, patterns, and guidelines across the organization.
- Lead security architecture reviews for new projects and system designs.
- Evaluate and recommend security technologies and solutions to address emerging threats and business needs.
- Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and development teams to embed security by design.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to security engineering teams.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in information security, with at least 5 years in a security architecture role.
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing complex security solutions, including network security, identity and access management, and cryptography.
- Deep understanding of cloud security principles and best practices across major cloud platforms.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP-Architecture, SABSA, or cloud security architecture certifications are required.
