Key Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design and delivery of complex building projects, ensuring technical integrity and compliance with codes.
• Manage project teams, workloads, and resources, overseeing all phases of design and construction support.
• Develop innovative and efficient structural solutions, utilizing advanced analysis and design software.
• Liaise effectively with clients, architects, contractors, and other design team members to ensure seamless project execution.
• Prepare and review design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers, promoting best practices and fostering a culture of technical excellence.

Requirements

• Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with the IStructE or ICE.
• Minimum of 8 years' experience in structural engineering design, with a strong portfolio of diverse projects.
• Expertise in structural analysis software (e.g., Robot, STAAD.Pro, ETABS) and BIM platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of UK building regulations, design standards, and construction methods.
• Proven leadership, project management, and client-facing skills.
