About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Lead UX/UI Designer to guide their design efforts in Reading . This leadership role is responsible for defining and driving the user experience strategy across all digital products, ensuring they are intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing. You will manage a team of designers, collaborate closely with product and engineering teams, and translate user needs and business goals into exceptional design solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the UX/UI design process from concept to execution, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity design.
- Develop and maintain a consistent design language and style guide across all product interfaces.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define user requirements and translate them into elegant design solutions.
- Conduct user testing and gather feedback to iterate on designs and improve usability.
- Mentor and manage a team of UX/UI designers, fostering a creative and collaborative environment.
- Champion user-centered design principles throughout the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in user research, interaction design, and visual design.
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma , Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
