Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) – SEN Department

📍 College-based role 📅 4 days per week – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday ⏰ 8:30am – 4:30pm 📆 Until the end of the academic year

We are currently looking for dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join the SEN Department within a college setting, supporting students with a range of additional learning needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and committed to helping young people achieve their full potential.

The role will involve:

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support to students with SEN

• Supporting students to access their learning and participate fully in college life

• Working closely with teaching staff and the SEN team

• Encouraging students' confidence, independence and personal development

• Providing appropriate support with learning, communication and engagement

• Helping to create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment

We are looking for candidates who are:

• Patient, empathetic and supportive

• Passionate about working with young people

• Confident working with students with additional needs

• Reliable, proactive and adaptable

• Able to build positive relationships with students and staff

• Previous experience working within SEN/education is desirable, but we welcome applications from candidates with relevant transferable experience
