Learning Support Assistant

A lovely and welcoming primary school in Camden is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support a EYFS class from October 2026. This full-time temporary role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with pupils, supporting learning and contributing to a positive classroom environment.

Role: Learning Support Assistant Start Date: October 2026 Location: Camden, London Contract: Full time Pay: £570 - £600 per week

Responsibilities

As the Learning Support Assistant, support pupils within a EYFS class during lessons and structured activities Work alongside the class teacher to support learning, engagement and independence Provide targeted support to individuals or small groups when required Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and participation in learning Contribute to the smooth running of the classroom and daily routines

Requirements

Experience supporting pupils as a Learning Support Assistant in a primary school setting. Experience working within EYFS Able to build positive, respectful relationships with pupils Calm, patient and supportive approach to learning Available full time for the duration of the role
