About the Role
Our client is seeking an organized and efficient Logistics Administrator to provide crucial administrative support to their logistics and supply chain operations, working remotely. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate logistics documentation, including shipping manifests, invoices, and proof of delivery.
- Coordinate communication between internal departments, carriers, and customers regarding shipment status and inquiries.
- Process and track shipments, ensuring all data is updated promptly in the relevant systems.
- Assist with the preparation of reports on logistics performance and inventory levels.
- Schedule and coordinate transportation bookings as required.
- Handle general administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and responding to emails related to logistics operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role, ideally within a logistics or supply chain environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with various stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently in a remote setting.
- Experience with logistics software or transport management systems (TMS) is a plus.
