Logistics Operative - Warehouse & Delivery

About the Role

Our client is seeking a versatile Logistics Operative to support both warehouse operations and delivery services in Milton Keynes . This role is vital for ensuring the smooth flow of goods from storage to final destination. You will be involved in various aspects of the supply chain, including order picking, packing, and driving for deliveries. This is a hands-on position for an individual who is organized, efficient, and comfortable with both physical tasks and driving duties, contributing to the operational success of our logistics hub in Milton Keynes .

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch accurately and efficiently.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring safe handling of all items.
• Operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers across the Milton Keynes area.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent record-keeping and stock checks.
• Ensure the warehouse and delivery vehicle are kept clean and organised.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the warehouse and on the road.

Requirements

• Valid UK Driving Licence with a good driving history.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Familiarity with Milton Keynes and surrounding areas for delivery routes.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
