Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) Engineer to join their growing technology team, working remotely. This role is crucial for bridging the gap between machine learning model development and reliable production deployment. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure, pipelines, and processes that enable the continuous integration, delivery, and monitoring of ML models. We are looking for a proactive individual with strong DevOps and software engineering skills, who is passionate about enabling data science teams to deploy and manage ML systems at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and robust MLOps infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for machine learning models.
• Automate the deployment, monitoring, and retraining of ML models in production environments.
• Implement best practices for version control, testing, and deployment of ML code and artifacts.
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of ML models.
• Monitor ML system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Manage and optimize cloud resources for ML workloads.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, software engineering, or MLOps.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and workflows.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash) and monitoring tools.
