About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, research, and qualify prospective major donors capable of making significant contributions.
• Develop and implement personalized cultivation and stewardship plans for a portfolio of major gift prospects and donors.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with major donors, understanding their philanthropic interests.
• Prepare and present compelling proposals, presentations, and funding requests for major gifts.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and program staff to identify funding needs and opportunities.
• Track donor interactions and gift pipelines accurately in the CRM system.

Requirements

• Proven track record in major gifts fundraising or a related development role, with demonstrated success in securing significant gifts.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively with high-net-worth individuals.
• Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities, with a capacity to develop tailored fundraising approaches.
• Experience in prospect research and pipeline management.
