Management Consultant - Operations Excellence

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated Management Consultant with a specialization in Operations Excellence to join their remote consulting team, serving clients in the Leeds area and beyond. You will be responsible for identifying inefficiencies, optimizing business processes, and implementing best practices to enhance client operational performance. This contract role offers the flexibility of remote work while demanding a results-oriented approach to driving significant improvements in client operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze current operational workflows, identify bottlenecks, and propose data-driven solutions for improvement.
• Design and implement lean methodologies, Six Sigma principles, and other operational efficiency frameworks.
• Develop performance metrics and dashboards to track operational progress and success.
• Lead change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new operational procedures.
• Provide expert guidance on supply chain optimization, process automation, and resource allocation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in operations management, process improvement, or consulting focused on operational efficiency.
• Proven experience with Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred), or other process improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
• Excellent remote collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to manage projects independently.
