About the Role
Our client is seeking a results-oriented Management Consultant specializing in operations excellence to join their team in Portsmouth . You will collaborate with clients to streamline their business processes, enhance efficiency, and drive significant improvements in operational performance. This hybrid role involves working closely with clients on-site and remotely, applying best practices in process optimization and lean methodologies. You will be part of a team dedicated to helping organizations achieve peak operational performance and sustainable growth through insightful analysis and practical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of client operations to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Design and implement strategies for process optimization, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
- Utilize lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies to drive operational excellence.
- Develop and deploy performance metrics and dashboards to monitor operational effectiveness.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions for client teams on operational improvement techniques.
- Manage project deliverables and timelines, ensuring successful implementation of recommended changes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Management Consultant or in a similar operations-focused role.
- Demonstrated expertise in operations improvement , process re-engineering, and lean methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex operational challenges.
- Experience with project management and leading change initiatives.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable working with diverse teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
