This role involves the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems for marine vessels and offshore installations. You will work on diverse projects, ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of electrical power, navigation, and communication systems at sea. Key Responsibilities

• Design and specify electrical power generation, distribution, and control systems for marine applications.
• Ensure compliance with relevant maritime regulations (e.g., DNV, ABS, Lloyds Register) and international standards.
• Manage the installation and commissioning of electrical equipment onboard vessels and offshore structures.
• Conduct diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, motors, and associated equipment.
• Develop and maintain electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Liaise with shipyards, naval architects, and vessel owners throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant marine technology field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in marine electrical engineering or a related maritime field.
• Strong knowledge of marine electrical standards, classification society rules, and safety practices.
• Experience with marine power generation, switchgear, propulsion systems, and navigation/communication electronics.
• Proficiency in marine electrical design software and documentation practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage offshore or shipyard-based tasks.
