About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly accomplished Master Automotive Technician to lead their technical team in Newcastle upon Tyne . Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults across a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
- Perform in-depth vehicle inspections and provide detailed recommendations for necessary repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Conduct advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving for intricate vehicle issues.
- Lead and mentor a team of automotive technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Ensure all repairs are completed to manufacturer standards and within efficient timeframes.
- Stay abreast of the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Automotive Technician , with proven expertise as a Master Technician.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Motor Vehicle Engineering or a related field.
- Extensive knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, including proficiency with manufacturer-specific software and equipment.
- Specialized certifications in areas such as hybrid/electric vehicles or specific brands are highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively guide and train others.
- Must possess a full UK driving license.
