Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and refine mechanical components and systems for automotive applications using advanced 3D CAD software.
- Conduct thorough stress, thermal, and vibration analysis using FEA tools to ensure component durability and performance under demanding conditions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including vehicle dynamics, powertrain, and manufacturing engineers, to integrate designs seamlessly.
- Create detailed technical drawings, specifications, and Bill of Materials (BOMs) for production release.
- Participate in prototype build and testing activities, providing technical support and analyzing test data to drive design improvements.
- Stay current with automotive industry trends, new materials, and manufacturing technologies to propose innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related automotive engineering discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably within the automotive sector.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) and experience with FEA analysis tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus).
- Strong understanding of automotive systems (e.g., chassis, powertrain, thermal management) and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple design tasks simultaneously.
